Your speaker: Dr. Marco Schwarzer
During his doctoral studies, Dr. Marco Schwarzer developed an early affinity for the analysis and processing of large volumes of data. After completing an additional qualification, he began his career as a Data Manager and successfully established the fields of Data Management and Biostatistics. In subsequent leadership roles, he supported the expansion of the operational business of an internationally active CRO as COO and later, as CIO, ensured a unified understanding of processes across complex projects.
His passion for training and knowledge transfer grew out of a strong desire to communicate complex topics in a clear, practical, and sustainable way, while actively fostering people’s professional development. Driven by this ambition, Dr. Schwarzer founded sino consultancy - with the clear mission not only to provide consulting services, but to act as an equal partner in developing tailored programs for sustainable knowledge transfer.

Abstract:
This training provides a practical introduction to Data Governance in Clinical Research. Participants will explore how data governance principles support data integrity, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness across the clinical data lifecycle. Through real-world scenarios, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises, the training clarifies roles, responsibilities, and oversight expectations in increasingly complex study and vendor environments. The seminar emphasizes actionable best practices that can be directly applied to strengthen governance and reduce compliance risks.
